Like the game before it though, my only wish is that it made use of Google Play achievements to give it some interesting replay value and a reason to revisit the older stories.
Please tell me there's going to be a part two very soon! I'm not going to spoil anything, but hot damn, no ending has ever left me needing a sequel so badly! Amazing job again, guys!
Needs works have yet to complete as keeps crashing on me and then resetting the story back to the beginning
Crashed halfway through after days of progress to a blank screen. Seemingly lost all progress. Clearly from the reviews here it's not ready for release & I expect far more than this for an almost £3 game.

Fun game, a great installment but I hate the speed of the texts and how if you're behind on reading when it's running that it'll keep popping to the bottom and you have to keep scrolling up or wait until it's done to scroll up to read everything it's really obnoxious. The older way of getting messages was better
Really intriguing game, I looked forward to everyday with Alex, chatting with a fictional character was like having a best pal. - I have had the game but only always just re-install every time I changed phones but I got to finally play and finish! Wonderful!! Only I can't seem to get the AI to verify my email, keeps saying there is a malfunction with it's information software! How will I know when Alex needs me again?! 🤔 Pls pls fix!!
I love the lifeline series. However this new one is proving to be a bit buggy. I accepted the two resets but then on my third playthrough I get blank screen and have to uninstall the game. I thought that was fixed in the last update? Anyway hopefully these issues will be resolved soon

Not sure if i am playing this game right? Tried redoing story 3 times...finally got to a point where Alex is busy. Hoping i will be able to continue. First 2 times i was given 3 options, Rate, Rewind or more Lifeline at end of chapter....not any option to continue this story. Very unique style for sure. Fingers crossed.Update: now my progress is freezing on a blue screen where none of the text comes up. This game wasn't ready.: I'm sorry. I really enjoy these games. But this is going on the back burner until you figure this stuff out. Two updates in a week that both reset days of progress. What I played was delightful and engaging, but this is beyond frustrating.
I really hope this one has a continuation, though. That can't be it! Really great lifeline

So was Alex being shot in the interrogation room really the ending? Please answer LifeLine because it was such a cliffhanger like in Taylor's story that seemed to need a 3rd story.
I have played all games by you guys I love them all. This one I've been pkaying for a while now and still haven't finished the story. I keep having to rewind it. Its definitely a hard one but my favorite thus far.edit: all the new updates and constantly losing ny progress is not cool
I have the current version of the app and it was working fine up until yesterday (10/26/16). Now I have a black screen. Funnily enough, it happened when I got the email announcing the new game. I like this game a lot, but now I can't play! I think I was close to the end, too. //// Update (10/30/16): I reinstalled it on my phone and it reset the whole thing. Sigh.

Great mystery, wonderful protagonist, the decisions feel legit and have real repercussions. Good story. Lovely descriptions of Austin. The police procedures are pretty laughable, as one would expect.
I believe this may be the best Lifeline yet! Was sad when it ended..
The one problem with this story is how it is hard to visualize the crime scene and what's being observed and/or going on. I think they should provide visuals that Alex would like send to you through his phone and HelpText like they did with the map of the ship in silent night. Other than that the game is very fun and interesting. I also really like the parts where you can Google stuff mentioned in the game.Keep up the good work! Also, there is a typo, when you interview Rod Ross at his house there is a typo here, "Of course. I mean, you dont think / had anything to do with it?" It should say I not /.
I think this is the best one out of all lifeline stories. Got me hooked on it. Waiting for a sequel. Great job game devs!
Loved all the lifeline games but I really liked the new spin they put on it this time with the help chat interface. Clever and very exciting

I am a huge fan of all of the Lifeline games. They're all so well written and I especially liked how connected I felt to the character in this one. It said I did as well as I good which means I win but ... you have to hurry up and release the next one! Alex! My only complaint is that the app kept crashing a bunch towards the end. Otherwise, bravo. Loved it.
I have played all releases of the Lifeline games now, and I have very much enjoyed every one of them. My favourite release in this series is almost definitely Lifeline Whiteout - but Lifeline - Crisis Line is definitely a close second. Playing the earlier instalments of the series is very much recommended, as there are passing mentions to previous characters and storylines throughout this release which further draws you in to the storyline. What I love most about these games is the interaction, the character building, the relationship building, but also the unpredictable endings. I am a big fan of the work from 3 Minute Games. I am already excited and hopeful about the next release!
The writing is lazy and filled with heavy-handed nods to the Tumblr community that add nothing to the story. There are a lot of unnecessary asides that do nothing except pander to the target audience with things like "DAE X-Files?!" The checkpoints are WAY too far apart, and many times your choices are completely ignored by the protagonist, hamstringing you into following the plotline they want. I've followed this franchise from the beginning but this installment is a huge disappointment.
Great games. Going to miss chatting with Alex every once and a while. Good character. Made him likeable.
Amazing Game! Great characters, good story, ad the real time is so cool. Just a warning, play Lifeline and Lifeline Silent Night before you play this. Amazing job, Three Minute Games and Matthew Sturges. 5 STAR.
I like the story so far, and all the connections to the previous games. But I can't fully suspend disbelief about the main character: unlike helpless Taylor and Arika, he should be making more decisions by himself, since he is a detective. Also, the text scrolls back to the bottom when someone's typing, which is annoying if I want to catch up on what was said before.

Not enjoyable with too many story failures despite good choices.
I love all the lifeline games, and this one's no different. I've just finished it, and it's amazing. All the stories are coming together. The only concern I have is that I'm a slow reader and when Alex is talking the screen jumps down to the bottom before I finish reading what's up top.
I was really enjoying playing this game and I had got really far into the investigation only to find after an update when I logged back in I'm back to the start...please fix or refund as I am not starting all over again!!!!!
Great game as always. Ending was a bit abrupt but I really did enjoy playing the cop's sidekick in this game.

The story isn't bad so far but the wait times for "Alex is busy" are ridiculous. Cell wants to power down multiple times for inactivity and I am waiting on another one while writing this review. Not too sure why these waits are even necessary but the first 2 are basically back to back. If I wanted to twiddle my thumbs while running an app this would not be how I did it.
Lost my progress after update.
Well, I finally made it to the end after killing our hero many times! I thought I would never finish it. Good job, but I can't figure out how Alex manages to type all that and do other things! The concept would be more believable if he was actually "talking" to me instead of typing. Had trouble with the notifications and the speed of the typing. Other than that no problems.

I've loved all the lifeline games and this one is no exception!
The text is so fast it keeps me from enjoying the game. After six or seven bubbles I'm just lost because there is no animation, what I'm reading just pops up from a random height at a random time interval. Really annoying and I really want to enjoy the game. If at least we could slow the text down.
Bought this game at the offer price now and it is a good buy. The game is very interesting and got the detective aura feeling when you play it helping alex there. Enjoyed playing it and keep it up! 5 stars for the game and for the price offer☺
the game crashed several times, gave me the blank screen, even after the update. - i am now trying to rewind the story to start it again and it will not give me the option to do this. annoyed!!!
